NJSSAR recently switched to a new online system for paying dues, run by a company called Zeffy. It can be a little tricky, so we’ve written out every step below with a picture of what you should see on your screen. If you get stuck at any point, please contact us — we’re happy to help.
Step 1
Go to the NJSSAR dues payment page: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/njssar-membership-dues-and-donations
Step 2
You need to select three separate items to pay your 2027 dues: National dues, State dues, and Chapter dues. At the top of the page, you’ll see this:

Click the “Add +” button for both SAR National Dues ($50) and NJSSAR State Dues ($30). Once you’ve done that, you’ll see this:

Next, scroll down the page until you see the Jockey Hollow Chapter listed. Don’t skip this step.
Step 5
As before, click “Add +” so the form now shows:

Near the bottom of the screen, you should see a button that says “Continue (3)”. Make sure it says exactly that. If the number is anything other than 3, go back and check: you may not have selected all three dues (National, State, and Chapter), or you may have selected an extra chapter by mistake.
Step 7
Be sure to select Jockey Hollow — that’s the only way we get credit for your membership. Please do not select any other chapter. (Right now there is no way to mark Jockey Hollow as your “primary” chapter — that’s a flaw in the system, not something you’re doing wrong.)
Step 8
After you click “Continue,” you’ll see a new screen. Please read the next few steps carefully — this is the most important part.
Step 9
You’ll need your National ID number. You can look it up here. This list is password-protected — the password was emailed to all members. If you didn’t receive that email, can’t find it, or can’t find your name on the list, please contact us and we’ll help.
Step 10
Enter your phone number.
Step 11
Under “Summary,” you should see three separate charges: SAR National, NJSSAR State, and Jockey Hollow Chapter dues. If you don’t see all three, stop and go back to the previous page.
Step 12
You’ll also see a section titled “Help keep Zeffy free for New Jersey Society, Sons of the American Revolution 💜 (optional).” This is asking if you’d like to leave an extra tip for Zeffy, the company that runs this payment website. That money does not go to SAR, NJSSAR, or our Chapter — it goes to Zeffy. Most members will want to click the dropdown menu and choose “Other.”
Step 13
After selecting “Other,” you’ll see a new box appear:

Type 0 into that box, unless you’d like to give Zeffy an extra tip. The total at the bottom should then read “USD 95.00.”
Step 15
Finally, complete the “Payment Method” section with your card or bank information.
